📜 Policies

• All tuition is due on the 1st of every month and considered late after the 3rd. A $10 late fee applies to late payments.

• No prorating for missed classes due to illness, holidays, weather, or personal reasons.

• A 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee applies to all credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and similar transactions.

• If your child drops out before their membership term ends:

  • A 30- or 60-day written notice (depending on membership type) is required.

  • The next month’s tuition must still be paid.

  • Example: If dropping in January on a 12-month membership, February and March must still be paid.

     

📣 Special Notices

• Students must attend at least two classes per week to progress.

• Belt testing is based on readiness, not a fixed timeline.

• Taekwondo is an individual journey—students progress at their own pace.

• Encourage your child to finish what they start. Getting to class is often the hardest part—after that, it’s fun and rewarding.

• The school is not responsible for children dropped off early or left after class. Siblings should not be dropped off without supervision.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

• If public schools close due to weather, ISTKD will also close.

• During hurricane season or extended outages, classes will resume as soon as power is restored.

• Tuition is not prorated for closures due to weather or holidays.
